Doubt: What are you most certain of, and what do you doubt? How much of your daily life includes confusion about where you are today? Do you have bigger, more far-reaching doubts about the future, for you or your family? Does doubt hit you like a brick wall, or does it sneak up on you like an itch you can’t scratch?
Indecision: How good at you at making decisions? Can you commit to something quickly, or do you take more time to explore your options? In which area of your life are you best at fast, and successful, decision making? Do you delay making decisions in certain situations to buy time to feel less uncertainty?
Ambiguity: Life isn’t black or white…there are lots of shades of grey. Where does a lack of clarity about a situation in your own mind, or someone else’s, impact you? Do vague situations make you uncomfortable? How do you create your own meaning in ambiguous situations? Can you self-soothe to help when you’re mired in ambiguity?
Ambivalence: Do you ever find yourself torn between different desires? Does a part of you want one thing when another part wants precisely the opposite? How do you make peace with competing desires? Do you tell the truth about those desires and deal with the consequences, or do you keep your ambivalence secret?
Anxiety: Does anxiety play a role in your life? What situations make you most anxious, and what means to you employ to assuage your fear? Are you anxieties about the things that make others anxious, or do you think your anxieties are unique?
Contingency: Do you take life as it comes with ease, or do you create backups and contingency plans for uncertain situations? Have you used contingency plans with success or have they ended up being unnecessary?

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions. Rainer Maria Rilke
The way to develop decisiveness is to start right where you are, with the very next question you face. Napoleon Hill
Our heart glows, and secret unrest gnaws at the root of our being. Dealing with the unconscious has become a question of life for us. Carl Jung
So what do we do? Anything. Something. So long as we just don't sit there. If we screw it up, start over. Try something else. If we wait until we've satisfied all the uncertainties, it may be too late. Lee Iacocca
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do.It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company ...a church ...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past ...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude ...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you ...we are in charge of our attitudes. Charles Swindoll

The greatest loss of time is delay and expectation, which depend upon the future. We let go the present, which we have in our power, and look forward to that which depends upon chance, and so relinquish a certainty for an uncertainty. Seneca
Then, wearied by the uncertainty and difficulties with which each scheme appeared to be attended, he bent up his mind to the strong effort of shaking off his love, like dew-drops from the lion's mane, and resuming those studies and that career of life which his unrequited affection had so long and so fruitlessly interrupted. In this last resolution he endeavoured to fortify himself by every argument which pride, as well as reason, could suggest. Sir Walter Scott
He is no wise man who will quit a certainty for an uncertainty. Samuel Johnson
If I feel depressed I will sing. If I feel sad I will laugh. If I feel ill I will double my labor. If I feel fear I will plunge ahead. If I feel inferior I will wear new garments. If I feel uncertain I will raise my voice. If I feel poverty I will think of wealth to come. If I feel incompetent I will think of past success. If I feel insignificant I will remember my goals. Today I will be the master of my emotions. Og Mandino
Enlightenment is a sublime word, if one goes back to its meaning; it means illumination of the spirit through truth, liberation from the shadows of error, or uncertainty, of doubt. Enlightenment is, in its deepest meaning, the transfiguration Paul Leopold Haffner
Where faith is there is courage, there is fortitude, there is steadfastness and strength... Faith bestows that sublime courage that rises superior to the troubles and disappointments of life, that acknowledges no defeat except as a step to victory; that is strong to endure, patient to wait, and energetic to struggle... It takes courage to be the author of your life. When you are struggling through one of the difficult parts of turning your dreams into reality, you may wonder why you always get stuck with having to put up with so much fear and uncertainty. Why, you wonder, couldn't I feel more courageous, like those other people do? You don't feel courageous because courage is not an emotion. There is no such thing as feeling courageous. It is an imaginary emotion. Courage consists of doing what you said you would do even when you don't want to.
